“It is hard to get to your terminal if you are unsure before you reach the airport- the trains stop at each terminal and if you get off at the wrong one you have to go back”

The airport is small enough that it is efficient, but confusing to get around particularly because arrows on signs meaning continue straight point downward instead of up as they do in most other places. There a number of signs which appear to take you to what look like dead ends and then take you out. There are signs which lead you past the sortir rather than out of them.
Metro comment: It is hard to get to your terminal if you are unsure before you reach the airport- the trains stop at each terminal and if you get off at the wrong one you have to go back down to the train and ride to the next terminal
The airport was fine and has access to metro trains which are quick and dirty. I didn’t see any restaurants or shops on my arrival from Milan.
Taxis fine but very expensive. We used the RER train and it was hot & crowded, but efficient
One of the most confusing airports around with really bad facilities. Information desk and personnell attending them are curt and unfriendly
Every thing was not clean, toilet was a lot people. Everything working slowly
It’s filthy and signage for airlines, airport flights/departures poor.
Desperately needed English – this is a major airport in Europe – it’s Paris, for Christ’s sake!!!
could do with water fountains /info kiosk closed/nobody knew where to store luggage, took awhile to find. Could do with better signage for international/europe flights in terminals/maybe have more than one customs desk/screening station when dealing with 300 odd passengers? Trains and metro, good service.
No free internet. Too many security checks
“Food outlets wer sub standard. The food court’s meals were unhealthy. The ‘hot’ dishes were sitting in open trays at room temperature and the serving staff were rude and unhelpful.Metro comment: The train was delayed for almost an hour on my way into Paris. Then, all passengers were forced onto the next train which was seriously overcrowded.”"
“very crowded, long queues everywhere.Reviews of services: queue staff allowed people to jump queues and when questioned refused to do anything about it”
“My plane landed at Terminal 3, quite far away from the the main terminal, less facilities, shops and cafes-restaurants.”
“I read really bad reviews of this airport, however I did not have any trouble getting to Termina2.
All directions are well signed in French and English, the train is fast, the stations are called in French and English.
Only had to wait a few minutes, in line with all other airports in the world.
The officer stamped my passport and gave it back to me with a smile and said welcome to France.
What else would one want?”
“Fantastic but very overcrowded and difficult to find your way and the security has a major problem of getting people through the line at the table to prepare for the xray and getting to the machine carrying several trays need to use less of the airplanes being bused to from the terminal as this is very hard on the people especially the elderly and families.”
“Very nice and big airport, but littem impersonal. Does not have the bonhomie and structure of the airport does not allow the people inetraction. It has more walls than the galss, so you feel cut out, despite the big size of the airport. The information counter could be little more freindlier to non-French speaking tourists.Hired car comment: Drivers are polite but hardly speak English”

“Not exactly Heathrow but good.
Good access to metro. Quick but very dirty. The airport was fine and has access to metro trains. I didn’t see any restaurants or shops on my arrival from Milan.”

Metro had a delay so we had to get off and walk to the next line and get back on the Metro to get to the RER.we used the RER and it was hot & crowded, but efficient

“A well run and efficient airport with helpful staff. The bus was easy to catch and was clean and tidy. The staff were efficient and helpful to english speaking tourists”

Desperately needed English – this is a major airport in Europe – it’s Paris, for Christ’s sake!!!for an international airport and being the hub of Europe, shouldn’t the staff be more fluent in English – a universal language in ALL major airports, except Paris!!!!!!!!
My trip was change to the other airport ORLY. It was okay for me. I did not go through Charles de Gaule
Every thing was not clean, toilet was a lot peaple
Arrived in Terminal 1, and it was awful. Power outage, so the RER wasn’t running, so there were masses of crowds waiting for transportation and nobody was organizing it well – nobody had any idea where to go. It was difficult to find taxis and it took us 2 hours to get transportation.Terminal 1 doesn’t have many things, and if you’re going to your gate and waiting there, it has NO services, no hot food, no good shopping
Unclear signposting, especially when arriving by RER. Little space for commerce/relaxation after checking in/security checks. The security checkpoint falls over the line of the duty-free shops. Why?
As with the rest of inflated Paris, the prices, even at the final lounge, are ridiculous.
I like the TVs with constant news updates, though
“Terminal B had limited services, limited duty free choices and high prices.
Terminal B had great short walk to airplane. Heathrow could learn a lot from CDG.
Terminal E was far superior.
Shuttle bus to all the parts of the airport was brilliant for Deaf people as it had a screen monitor to show where we were in the route.
The add ons should be clearly marked on the meter. We had 10 euros added on each way – supposedly due to extra passengers…er? We could never work out if this was correct or a rip-off”
In Terminal 2G there is only 2 places to get food in the lobby and they are the same!
“In terminal 3 Do not hurry to pass the gate because there is nothing behind for entertainment.Metro comment: it takes at last 45 minute to get there so keep it in mind.Only bad thing is going to the airport. We came from the south and should go all the way throug Paris. They shoul really plan and build a moterway around Paris!”
Six arms to terminal 2 so can be a bit confusing if you don’t know where to go, however the signane is good and lotsof maps.Security call at Gare du Nord made it long but good overall and a lot cheaper than any other transport to Versailles.Easyjet check in max 2 hrs before (Bristol was ok at 3) so had to wait, long queues from 2 directions, no-one knew what was where, no help from staff other than ‘no’ called to board 1hr before even though plane delayed an hour
The airport per se is fine. But there are no trains at all after 11PM and the bus shuttle takes 90 mn to go to Paris.
CDG is a disgrace basically. Staff are rude and the facillities poor. Needs a big upgrade.”
Ground Transportation
“Reviews of services: i shall be grateful if you could communicate a complaint adressed not to your company but to air-france: we were 2 passengers- therefore with luggage allowance of 2*20kgs at least. We had only 1 suitcase of 24 kgs for both and they wanted to let us pay for overweight!! not only that we “save” them 16 kgs but we must pay even that it was uncomfortable for us to carry 2 suitcases. Incredible stupid regulations of this company. Thanks for transmitting to air france.”
“Reviews of services: I am not impressed. The place is just full of “brand” shops, with very little of interest on offer. Also quite difficult when you are a vegetarian to find decent food. There are no lounge chairs where you can rest before departure where I was, but I heard that in other parts of the terminal there were. The worst of course are the toilets, dirty and constantly occupied.Passport control are quite unfriendly. Customs depends a bit on who you get. I had a really professional, nice person, but the family with children on the lane next to ours had a really unhelpful person”
“The airport is dated and there is little to stop the unlicensed taxi drivers approaching you straight out of arrivals like moths to a flame. The RER and connecting train is very easy to use and efficient although the RER chairs are real bone breakers.Reviews of services: It is quite a dated set-up and in need of a face lift not to mention more moving floors as the distances are long. There are few seats at the gate and there was only one cafe with a total monopoly and prices to match – €5 for 35ml of Coca-Cola!”
excellent it did go very fast I arrive about 2 houres earlier to make sur I will have the same problem that I had in heathrow but Charle de gaulle airport staff seem to be using a comun sens and their brain as the check in finish at least 10 minute before departure. while in heathrow I arrived 55 minute before departure they manage to not check me in and wanted to make me pay for an other ticket
hired a shuttle. ended up being a WHOLE lots cheaper then taxis, and its efficient as it takes you right to your doorstep.picking you up when you need to be picked up
Confusing layout of entry points.Reviews of services: The aesthetics of the airport do not match the beauty of Paris. It gives a bad first and last impression. Personnel are helpful
