The airport itself is fine, but Ryan Air (an by the look of it, other airlines)do not put on enough staff,; there is congestion; long queues; they encourage on line book-ins but then dont provide a desk for just getting your visa stamped so you have to join a long queue or try to push in; and delays at security; a most unseemly scramble and no proper system for boarding and only ONE staff member on duty to board the whole flight. The flight was an hour late departing. This seems to be the norm. In which case why not advertsie the time the plane actually takes off? The whole experience is demeaning and no-one seems to give a stuff. It is like some social science experiment on the theme of Lord of the Flies. It is a disgrace.”
Good selection of restaurants and shops. On return had to wait 2 hours for bags with no information so parents picking us up had to pay £30 for parking!! Nobody could tell us what was happening.
My first visit. No problem finding way round. Just a rush once the gate was announced. Very impressed that aircraft waited for 17 passengers for over 30 mins. In end they didn’t appear but we were still on time at Bremen.
Good airport. Helpful advice from staff when required. Would fly with Ryanair again if it stays as good. Only gripe was having to print my boarding pass prior to checkin. I had great difficulty accessing a computer to check my NZ e-mails telling me to print my B Pass. Think this should be able to be done (from NZ) at time of confirmation. It caised me a lot of stress. I was very concerned about having to pay 30-40 euros if I hadn’t done it. It was nearly impossible for me to het to a computer whiole I waas travelling. Also when I did finally manage, I was not able to print my return boarding pass. Had to wait until Bremen where I was lucky to be staying with friends who had a computer.”
Just wondering about some sentencesyou put into this article. Lately, I’ve read some interesting books about it.
