The airport is good and the general service is fine, however I was not impressed by the fact that if one is holding a European passport when entering the U.K they are still interrogated on how long they wish to stay and the purpose of the visit. My understanding is, if holding an EU passport one is entitled to live anywhere in the EU zone. I think the questions are justified if one seems suspicious. I visit UK oftenly as I have family and friends, I wonder if there is anything that makes me look suspicious only when entering the UK as I have visited a lot more countries and never go through this. I have noticed that this is done constantly in the U.K, it really makes me feel segregated as I was put on the side for these questions, I want to do my research if this is justified.
The security rule of one bag is not ideal, maybe for ladies a handbag should be allowed as that is where we put our wallets and passport.s, It is such an inconvenience to get to the airport and start squeezing everything in the hand luggage to make it one bag. I am also not happy about the treatment that I received when entering the UK, being interrogated. I have studied in a University there and still left the country after I finished my study. I thought lawfully, I was free to live there as I hold a Dutch passport but I choose not to because at the moment I am still happy living in Holland. When my family or friends that live in the U.K travel to the Netherlands they never go through such interrogation. I hope they will change their treatment of people of colour
