As well as flight companies increasingly charging customers to check-in bags, hand luggage seems to be becoming an increasingly popular option. But what do travellers prefer? British Airways at Heathrow Terminal 5

State-of-the-art and energy efficient, Heathrow’s Terminal 5 made quite an impression when it was opened in 2008 by Queen Elizabeth. But while the glass and steel structure looks very futuristic, what is it like to actually use it?

Since Terminal 5 is exclusively used by British Airways, our customers who flew with this airline to and from Heathrow were in a good position to tell us. And there were very mixed reviews…
