“Restaurants do not provide a good quality of food and are very expensive. It is not worth it to have a kind of lunch there.”
“The new part of the airport was very excellent. The space was great. Everything was new and shiny.”

Terminal 1 Barcelona

We used the bus from the airport to Placa Catalunya. We did not have to wait mor than ten minutes. The bus was punctual and the price reasonable
Fine wheelchair service. Fine service as handicapped
Closer to the city than Girona, hence cheaper to travel to the airport
Lost property were helpful but in a difficult position in the airport. People very helpful. However I had to find lost property after we had checked in and wasn’t allowed back in towards the gates. My wife had my boarding pass and we nearly missed the flights. The information desk should have told me that I wouldn’t be able to re-enter the gates area of the airport.”
Restaurants do not provide a good quality of food and are very expensive. It is not worth it to have a kind of lunch there. Has to be modified. All the signs are not perfect and sometimes confusing.
We waited one hour for our baggage to arrive on the baggage carousel, this was after the Vueling flight already having been delayed an hour. We are travelling with young children and were furious about this. Terrible BAGGAGE HANDELING !!!

It’s difficult to understand which terminal you are at, for example it’s not easy to understand when you are at terminal B.
It’s not good that there aren’t any post boxes when you have passed the security. You can buy postcards and stamps but you can’t send the card?!
It’s not funny to have to walk through the whole airport to get the luggage, much better if you can get the luggage at the same terminal as where you arrive!
New terminal is very nice. The old one is too busy.
bad organization, nowhere informations about which flight is checked-in where, … i lost a LOT of time wondering around and waiting in wrong lines. Its a short trip on the bus, 4.25 euros is too much
It took me a long time to search online, only your site unfold the fully details, bookmarked and thanks again.

“It was the first time that we did not have to wait for our luggage. As we came to the luggage collect room, the transport band started running. I do not know why they charge a lot of extra money for the luggage

I left my prescription reading glass on Vueling Flight 1073 from Madrid to Barcelona at 15:30 on July 12th. Please contact me if you find them. Closer to the city than Girona, hence cheaper to travel to the airport”
Couldn´t use my credit card early in the morning because they have no connection! Anoying when you have few hours stop

“Very aesthetic but empty. No shops or bars near the gates — apart from McDonalds and a boring duty-free. The new terminal is a long way from the main terminal it seems — very tiring on the return run. It’s not the metro to Barcelona Airport that is a problem — it’s the additional lang delay to the new terminal which is tiring. The services before and after Security are like night after day. But one must allow time to get to the gate on time — so why can’t one relax and have a drink and buy a book whilst one is waiting near the gate? I am a Canadian citizen with a fully-vallid 10-year visa in France (I live in Perpignan, just over the border) and the girl, who was under apprenticeship I think, was very rude about the fact that I was going to spend a night in Barcelona (at my daughter’s) before returning to France the next day”
the boarding was 20:20 so I was shopping, then I heard last call at 20:05!!!
almost thought that this is the wrong flight as it was earlier than the time was written on the borading pass-could miss the flight.
Rushed into the early boarding, didnt had time to use the toielt or get drink for the flight!no clwear guidline how to get- hard to find the train to airport from ther metro.only the confusion about the check in was annoing
boarding pass says 20:20 starting boarding ,almost missed the flight. The security check was very slow – 15 minutes, the person looking at baggage scanning screens was also doing checking bags physically when required, suggest another person to check bags.
police control is so far to boarding gate. (confort comment)
all people inside barding hall is able to take any baggage ang go out eventhought any fly were token. (security comment
“We thought this airport is the most spectacular and people friendly airport we have ever seen…..a real triumph.”
“Dreadful. It used to be a good airport. Now, prior to check-in, you can’t buy newspapers or books. The food is limited. There are even fewer seats than before.”
the bus driver took 15min talking to another bus driver. Destination T1. +1h in a queue to get on a flight to the USA
Our flight on 2nd August was delayed from Barcelona to London on Lufthansa Airlines so staff member Nicoli Hoppe spent considerable time organizing a new flight via British Airways for us, which was most helpful and she should be rewarded. 3 others also were assisted by her on the same day
The gates for Vueling were far too few and were manned by grandmothers working part-time and learing the job while on it. Consequently the queue didnt move till the grandmas were replaced by their manager
great airport, good attention and information system
Terminal 2 quiet and easy to get to. No area for smoking, not even in the VIP lounge at M3. VIP loung was not very good at €15.00 head. Coffee and minerals and small snacks (buns, crisps etc) were provided. However, there was no-one to top up the snacks, only one lady at the entrance desk. The toilets were nice but smely and in bad need of cleaning. Poor signal on TV and no english language stations. Only one english newspaper. Used cups and glasses were left on tables for hours, and no smoking area. Some shops closed. Everything was extremely pricey, but Barcelona in general was ridiculously expensive, particularly Las Ramblas
supplement higher than indicated on taxi schedule in vechile
easy jet have their own building for check which id not very well sign posted within the main terminal 2 building and is actually about a 5/10 min walk from the main terminal building depending on where you are in the terminal.very easy and cheap to get around on metro easier and cheaper to get around on public transport than taxi which is 32 euros train and metro less than 5 euro to city centre.very cheap and easy to get around on train taxi 32 euros one way and train and metro to city less than 5 euros
A lot of shops closed in departure area – August? Or not yet let? Unclear. Dreadfully poor information on connections to town. Encouraged to take train and metro using T10 ticket which would be good if more information available and fewer steps and walks at station interconnections. Use the Aerobus, but see problems with this too. Does not terminate at sufficient town locations so have to use local buses – hard to get info on these. Use 59 from Barceloneta to Catalunya Aerobus terminal easier and nicer than metro as passes up The Ramblas.Seriously hard to work out where to get off train Renfe from airport in town. Seriously bad steps to lug suitcases up and down between RENFRE and metro stations. People need to be warned. The return journey by Aerobus OK but stops only at T! so LONG walk to T1 to T2 transfer bus through T1 Town bus should go to both terminals or at least connect with transfer bus. Until improved suggest use Aerobus in both directions. Maps of transport system very unclear on overground and metro connections. Interesting approach to mixing incoming and outgoing passengers with e=security cheques on apparently non shengan arrivers before mixing with outgoing pax. Seems a bit odd and is it legal?
THE PASSPORT CONTROL MADE US WAIT 80 MINUTES TO QUEUE BEFORE BEING ALLOWED INTO MARRAKESH. NOWHERE TO SIT UNACCEPTABLE.BOOKED BY HOTEL 15 EUROS EACH WAY
It’s the best airport at the moment i ever been. Had luck to be here many times and i know i will come back. Apart Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, it has wonderful and very helpful airport. Keep going
Clean, spacious, helpful and polite staff, easy to get to from the centre of the city, good eating places for refreshments. My first visit and I was impressed.
It doesn’t take much time to get on the plane.
Restaurants and bars are expensive in Spain, but cheaper than other airports in Europe.very uneasy access by private car expressely made to force people to spend money in parking.
extremely long walk to the gates. negative for aged people. the main hall on several plants is not clearly organized and signalized
Now it might be my fault but I did have problems with the new terminal at El Prat. I flew back to Morocco from the new Terminal 1, I passed through the security zone, and looked around and saw a sign saying gates D to my left, which being my gate I headed for. I was on a second level and could see the duty free shopping below. I passed through the passport check expecting to then descend to the shops but found myself in departures, which meant no shopping. Now I admit I should have realised when I showed my passport, but whilst I was sitting at the lonely cafe in the departures lounge 2 other groups of people came up to the bar to ask how they could get to the duty free area having made the same mistake as myself. There were no signs directing you to the shops only signs for departure gates
